4th Person Shot In Chattanooga Over The Weekend; Man, 24, Hit Twice While Walking On 38th Street In Alton Park

A fourth person has been shot in Chattanooga over the weekend - with the latest incident happening in Alton Park early Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 12:23 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 200 block of West 38th Street on a report of a person shot. A local hospital reported a victim of non-life threatening gunshot wounds had arrived by personal vehicle and was being treated for those injuries.

Darrell Bridges, 24, told investigators he had been walking on West 38th Street when he was shot.

The victim suffered two gunshot wounds.

The suspect was described as being in a dark-colored sedan.

Bridges did not provide any further suspect description.
