2 Teens Arrested In Separate Arson Cases

A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with arson for a fire in the carport area of a home at 1715 Long St. on Monday.

The charges were made by the Chattanooga Fire Department fire investigator and the teen was transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center by the Chattanooga Police Department. 

A 13-year-old juvenile was charged on Monday for two fires that happened on Aug. 30.  The first was at 4701 Divine Ave. in a storage building and the second at 1400 East 51st St., in which a fire destroyed the semi-trailer of a tractor-trailer unit.

The teen was charged with both arson and setting fire to personal property by a Chattanooga Fire Department fire investigator and transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center by the Chattanooga Police Department.
