Helen Ledford, 78, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in a Chattanooga health care facility.
She was a member of Cleveland Christian Church. She was retired from M&M Mars.
Mrs. Ledford was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Max Ledford; her parents, Buford Wolford Lawson and Rose Lawson Sears; and her granddaughter, Chelsea Chastain.
She is survived by her two children, Karen Chastain-Dowdy and Rick Max Ledford; grandchild, Rikki Ledford Hannah of Cleveland; and great-grandchildren, Rylan Ledford, Kadyn Hannah and Bentley Hannah.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Caywood officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Randy Woody, Bryon Woody, Marty Woody, Bob Taylor, Brandon Gregory and David Dowdy serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 at the funeral home prior to the service.
