Strange, Raymond Wesley (Summerville)

Raymond Wesley Strange, 82, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Saturday, November 6, 2015, at his residence after an extended illness.

Mr. Strange was born December 15, 1932, in Summerville, son of the late Charlie Griff and Viola Ponder Strange.  He was a member of the Berryton Baptist Church and was a Mason.  Mr. Strange was retired from Mohawk Industries as well as the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Maxine Helton Strange; second wife, Christine Ray Strange; sons, Ricky Strange and John Strange.

Mr. Strange is survived by his sons, Lewis Strange, Marty Strange, and Bobby Strange; daughters, Pat (Paul) Brison, Sally (Beverly) Strange; a sister, Mary Ann Ebach; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and cousins.

Private memorial and interment services were held at the Summerville Cemetery.
