A credit card belonging to a woman who was run over and killed during a robbery in Covington, Ga., has been found in Chattanooga.
Authorities said the card of 65-year-old Marsha Johnson was found near the Koch chicken plant.
In the incident on the parking lot of a Walmart, witnesses said the victim's purse was snatched by a man who approached her. After she tried to fight back, she fell to the ground. The purse snatcher then got in his truck and ran over her. He was boxed in so he then backed over her.
A witness tried blocking the truck in, but was unable to stop him.
Detectives from Covington were in Chattanooga working on leads and handing out fliers.
The driver was described as a large Hispanic male in his 30s with a goatee. He had an Hispanic female passenger.
He was driving a late-1990s model silver or light gray Honda Accord. There would be damage to the driver's side door from where the witness tried to stop him.
