Jimmie Lee Cooper, 70, of Dalton, Georgia, died on Wednesday afternoon, November 18, 2015 at his residence.
Jimmie was born Sept. 1, 1945, in Dalton, GA, to the late Roy and Rossie Cooper; and was also preceded in death by his brothers, W.L. Cooper, Larry Cooper.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Stacy Pellom of Dalton, GA; daughter, Lynn Bovor of Cohutta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, M.B. and Polly Cooper of Cohutta, GA; special cousin, Tex Gillan; and two grandchildren.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jimmie Lee Cooper will be held Saturday Nov. 21 at 11 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Jack Cornett and Reverend Ben Clayton officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20.
