Ruby Gill McJunkin, 83, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, November 22, 2015 in a local health care facility.
She was born on April 4, 1932, in Jackson County, Al., to the late Walter and Elizabeth Gill and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mrs. McJunkin was preceded in death by her husband, Gene McJunkin, son, Richard Eugene Smith, sister, Bonnie Gill, and brother, Thomas Gill.
Survivors include her sons, Billy Bostic, Glenwood, Il., George Smith, Scottsboro, Al., and Wesley McJunkin, Rossville; brother, J.W. Gill, Lookout Mountain; sister, Virginia Owsley, Newbern, Tn.; three grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
A private family burial will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 10 a.m. at Garrison Cemetery, Dayton, Tn. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Chattanooga Valley Ward, Highway 341, Flintstone, Ga.
