Darrell G. Ables, 65, of Whitwell, Tennessee, died on Thursday, November 26, surrounded by his loving family.
Darrell was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
The son of the late James H. and Dorothy Griffith Ables, Darrell was also preceded in death by brothers, James "Jim", Larry "Pete", Johnny, and Waylon Ables.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Layne Ables; son, Dustin Ables; sister, Susie Ables Masters, all of Whitwell, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Cecil Baxter will officiate, and honors will be provided by The Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. Burial will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-9 p.m. CST.
