John Kenneth Durham, 62, of Chattanooga, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 25, 2015.
John was an accomplished layout engineer and surveyor having headed up many design and building projects with TVA, Talley Construction, and countless other foreman and surveying positions.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Ross Durham, father, Robert E. Durham, Jr., and niece, Amanda Graham Barker.
Survivors include his daughter, Sarah Beth Durham, Vallejo, CA; son, Blane Michael Durham, Chattanooga; grandsons, Joshua & Jonah Vargis, Vallejo, CA; sisters, Collette Thomas and Angie Pace, Lookout Mountain, and Sophia Cashwell, Dahlonega, GA; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of John’s life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 29, at 1 p.m. at Ziggy’s Grill, 607 Cherokee Blvd., Chattanooga. All are welcome to come and share their memories of John.
