Corker Pleased Fed Raising Interest Rates

Senator Bob Corker released the following statement on Wednesday about the Federal Reserve’s decision to raise interest rates:

“I am pleased with today’s announcement that the Fed has begun to normalize interest rates. It is my hope this decision, like every FOMC decision, was made based on the data. A truly independent central bank is critical to maintaining long-run price stability.”
