Three people have been shot since Thursday evening in Chattanooga.

One involved a disorder on Highway 153 and the second an incident on E. Third Street.

Just after 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve, officers with the Chattanooga Police Department were dispatched to 5501 Highway 153 on a disorder/person shot call

Upon arrival officers were advised there had been a fight involving three females and a man.

A witness stated that during the disorder between the three females, the man party stepped into the fight. At that point the man who tried to intervene was reportedly shot by another man at the scene.

The victim, Kenneth Redman, 31, was struck multiple times in his lower legs.

He was transported via private vehicle to a local hospital.

His injuries are non-life threatening.

The suspect is believed to be driving a burgundy vehicle (possibly a Chevy Impala).

In the second incident around 3 a.m., an officer with the Chattanooga Police Department reported hearing gun shots fired near 1401 E 3rd St.

Officers arrived on scene and saw Darius Blakemore, 26, lying on the ground and he appeared to be in pain. He had a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his right leg.

Multiple individuals were on scene tending to the victim, who refused to provide information, stating that he did not know the individuals who shot at him.

The individuals tending to him also refused to cooperate with police. No other witnesses were located.

The victim was transported to a local hospital nonemergency for treatment.

The Chattanooga Police Department responded at 3:03 p.m. to 2500 McRae St. concerning a person shot. Once on the scene, a victim was not located.

The victim, Lamarcus Copeny, 18, had been transported via personal vehicle to a local hospital. The victim suffered a non-life threatening wound to the leg. No credible suspect information was provided.
