The victim of the fatal hit and run that occurred in East Ridge last Friday has been identified as Darryl Carter, 51, of the Chattanooga area. Police are looking for the driver of a 2013-2015 Nissan Sentra with damage to the front.
Mr. Carter was apparently crossing Ringgold Road and was struck by the Nissan Sentra traveling east bound. Parts of the hit and run vehicle were recovered at the scene.
