Darrel Jones
Darrel Dwayne “Boo” Jones, 43, died on November 26, 2015.
He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and a 1990 graduate of Howard High School.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nehemiah Jones and brother, Charles Jones.
Survivors include mother, Ellen Jones; brothers, Michael (Lisa) Jones, Clabon Johnson, Sr.; sister, Gloria J. Pickens; sons, Charles, Zy’Shun, and Darrel Jones, Jr.; daughters, Leslie, Jamyra, Ma’Niyah and Jimia Molly Jones; one grandchild; other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, at noon at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Wayne L. Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, Dec. 4, and the family will receive friends from 7–8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
