Review for Elenowen:
Following successful packed house performances at Chattanooga's Camp House Elenowen is returning for a concert in this city's most intimate venue in duo form as the release of their latest full album "For the Taking" is off the burner and on the table.

From reading the various reviews ranging from Rolling Stone to Nashville Lifestyles it seems everyone wants to make a storybook tale of this married couple's musical journey together. After appearing on the first season of NBC's The Voice and recording songs for the TV series' One Tree Hill and MTV's World of Jenks it looks obvious that yes, there is a dynamically interesting highly creative relationship going on here. But upon listening to the new album, this concert producer let the tabloids fall to the floor as the ethereal effects of their duo vocal harmonies on instantly classic songs like "One by One," "Saddest Songs" and "Cold Hard Truth" washes over the review process of this event and guarantees us that this will be among the modern country, Nashville-Americana music machine's finest offerings in the pure talent department. And lately it seems the booking agents and other powers-that-be are catching on that Chattanooga has a lot of options in the realm of current, upcoming talent.

Review for Ten Bartram:

Word is getting around that there's some very interesting new talent brewing up on Lookout Mountain.  Ten Bartram is the band name that showcases two sisters, Rebekah and Eleanor Angel and for the opening set of this show the duo will be presented in their pure acoustic form. Maybe we can convince them to come back later for a full band show of their own? Apparently they have been busy polishing their music and focusing on some high quality performance venues around the country including shows at The Mint in Los Angeles, The Square Room in their original hometown of Knoxville .. and a brand new video which was created over the last month.

Their two independently produced CD's "In Tandem" and "Some Hootenannies" show off a highly developed style we could call Americana but the sophistication of Ten Bartram's traditional folk styling combined with their modern production pushes it beyond the "Appalachian" or country folk music we're used to hearing a lot of here. Songs that show off some of their varied traditional folk influences are "Like Dust I'll Rise," (a bluesy gospel styled tune,) "If the Choo Choo Moved" (a song with Chattanooga references..) and "Mr. Zimmerman" (a fantasy about Bob Dylan in his Greenwich Village era with highly focused 60's folk styling.)

CD's from both artists will be available at the concert.
