Katherine Millsap, 85, of Chatsworth, GA, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Chatsworth Health Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Letha Anne Goode; son, J.W. Moore; sisters, Polly Boling, Effie Garner and Mamie Beck; and brothers, Homer, Frank and James Goode.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Tony Moneymaker of Chatsworth, Beverly and Jerry Farris of Cleveland, TN, Glenda and Gerald Smith and Kathy and Harvey Whitener all of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Peggy Hipps of Chatsworth;13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday, March 2, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 1 from 4-8 p.m.
