“Succession planning continues to be a key focus of our firm-wide staffing efforts, and the addition of these four candidates is an important step that will continue to energize our growth expectations in our audit and tax departments,” said Daniel Sheets, partner-in-charge of recruiting this year at HHM.

Prior to joining HHM’s audit and accounting department, Ali Holzaepfel, CPA, served as a staff accountant at Southern Champion Tray and spent three years at Chick-fil-A Inc, in Atlanta, serving as senior franchisee accountant where she prepared P&L statements and reconciled general ledger accounts for more than 50 franchised restaurants.
She also served on Chick-fil-A’s Financial Services Recruiting Team and was a peer coach and advisor.

Ms. Holzapfel is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Lee University, having received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Marianne L. Lorren, CPA, brings seven years of accounting firm experience to HHM’s tax department. She previously served at firms in CA, FL and MO as a tax accountant. In addition to preparing traditional tax returns for individuals, partnerships, estates and corporations, she also worked with high net worth individuals, produced a 50 state sales tax analysis for national media distribution corporation, and provided bookkeeping and financial statements for an international men’s grooming line. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Adventist University, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She resides in East Brainerd.
