  • Monday, March 16, 2015

Betsy Ranalli will join EPB as executive director of Community Development on April 6, according to Harold DePriest, EPB’s president & CEO.

Ms. Ranalli, who currently serves as State director for Senator Bob Corker, will enhance EPB’s ongoing efforts to partner with community leaders and citizens to support the betterment of the local area.

According to Senator Corker, Ms. Ranalli has the skills and experience to be very effective in her new position. “Betsy was one of our very first hires because we knew she had the energy, skills and love for Tennessee that would be essential as we built our state operation,” said Sen. Corker. “For over six years, she has been an effective manager for our team across the Volunteer State, instilling a spirit of hard work and compassion and always ensuring that all Tennesseans receive exceptional service every time they interact with our office.  As one of the finest individuals I’ve ever had the privilege to work with, I have no doubt that Betsy will be an incredible asset to EPB and we wish her well as she begins this exciting new chapter in her life.”

Mr. DePriest noted that Ms. Ranalli is already very familiar with EPB’s mission to improve local quality of life. “Over the years, Betsy has effectively served as the point of connection and coordination between Sen. Corker, EPB and other organizations across the state,” Mr. DePriest said. “We’re glad to welcome Betsy aboard with a commitment to focus her talents entirely on the Chattanooga area.”

Ms. Ranalli expressed appreciation for the honor of working with Sen. Corker. “Senator Corker’s leadership and unquestioned integrity make me incredibly hopeful for our country's future,” Ms. Ranalli said. “Supporting his efforts to serve Tennesseans has been the privilege of a lifetime. I welcome the opportunity to join EPB’s efforts to support the continuous improvement of the very special place where I’m raising my daughters.”
