The Roueché Chorale and Orchestra, an interdenominational Christian Chorale based in Chattanooga, will present a sober and somber Holy Week work entitled, “Colors of Grace.”
"The cantata, written by Joseph Martin, demonstrates the greatest lessons of Christ’s ministry--service, obedience, humility and forgiveness—through colored cloths and appropriate symbols. The program includes chorus, orchestra, cast and narrator," organizers said.
The Roueché Chorale is an interdenominational music ministry, comprised of singers from around Chattanooga and the tri-state area, both professional and amateur, and of many different denominations.
“Our common bond is our love for our Lord Jesus Christ, and our desire to spread His word through the ministry of music,” said Jeff Roueché, founder and artistic director of the Chorale.
The program will be on Tuesday, March 31, at 7:15 p.m. at Brainerd United Methodist Church, 4315 Brainerd Road. The program is free to the public, and plenty of parking is available.
