Mindy Simmons, 54, of Pikeville, TN, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015.
She was of the Church of God faith and was a member of the West End Church of God. She enjoyed sewing and making crafts. Mindy cherished the time she got to spend with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Jay Bowman and Evelyn (Troglin) Bowman; and her maternal grandmother, Bessie Troglin.
She is survived by her children, Jesse (Eiron) Simmons and Leslie (Matt) Lockhart, both of Pikeville, TN; sisters, Tammy Cranfill, Pikeville, TN, Mitzi (Tim) Henson, Warsaw, IN and Cyndee (Tim) Debord, Pikeville, TN; grandchildren, Taylor, Ike, Zeth, Jack and Luke; nieces, SaBra Debord and Jessica Henson; and many friends.
A Celebration of Mindy’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 2, at 1 p.m. with Min. Ken Norris officiating. Burial will be in the William Veon Simmons Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 1 from 4-9 p.m.
