Logan Dotson, a teenager, was killed in a car accident on Wednesday morning on Burkhalter Gap Road in Dade County in rainy conditions.

Blake Sharp, another teenager, who was a passenger, was taken to Erlanger for injuries.

It was reported the accident happened around 7:30 a.m., and the two were headed for school.

Police said speed didn't seem to be a factor in the accident.  The pickup truck hit a power pole and then rolled down an embankment.  Police said the driver was killed on impact.
