Ruby May Hale, 83, of Soddy Daisy, dies on Monday, April 20, 2015.

Ruby was a member of the East Daisy Church of God and had worked at J.W. Bray Company. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and fishing.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Carl M. Hale; son, Carl J. “Rooster” Hale and granddaughter, Menisha Vincent. 

Survivors include her sons, Richard Hale (Pam) of Ooltewah, Tim Campbell (Tammy) of Soddy Daisy, John Hale (Tammy) of Red Bank and Bryan Scott Hale of Soddy Daisy; brother, Robert Campbell of Tracy City; sisters, Elsie Johnson of Dalton, Geneva Cunningham of Tracy City and Neal Goodman of Tiftonia; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held on Thursday, April 23, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Melvin Walker and Reverend Larry Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton County Memorial Park. Visitation is Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
