Girls Inc.'s UnBought And UnBossed Awards Are Thursday

The Girls Inc.'s UnBought and UnBossed Awards honor local women who through their career achievements or community service have made an impact on the lives of Hamilton County girls and women. Each year 10 honorees are chosen from community nominations by girls participating in Girls Inc.'s Women's History Project.  

The 2015 UnBought and UnBossed Honorees are Darlene Boyd, Jo Coke, Amanda Dunn, Dorothy Grisham, Dr. Everlena Holmes, Stacy Lightfoot, Kelly McCarthy, Dr. Molly Seal, Judge Christie Sell and Amy Walker. The event will be emceed by Alison Lebovitz. 

More than 700 are expected to attend the attend the ceremony, including many of the women who have been honored with the award in the past, many local elected officials and distinguished guests. 

The awards will be held Thursday.  Doors open at 11 a.m., program begins at 11:30 a.m. and will end at 1 p.m. at the Chattanooga Convention Center, Banquet Halls E-F-G-H-I-J.
