Edna Lorene (Adkins) Blevins, 94, of Trenton, GA, passed away Wednesday evening, April 22, 2015 at Dade Health and Rehab.
She was retired from the Trenton Spinning Mill and was a charter member of the Rising Fawn Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Blevins; parents, Jess and Cornelia (Castleberry) Adkins; sisters, Hassie Ramsey, Martha Gifford and Lillian Steele; and one brother, Robert Adkins.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Dale) Brown of Rainesville, AL; two sons, Tommy (Laura) Blevins of Rising Fawn, GA and Ronnie (Glenda) Blevins of Lookout Mtn., GA; grandchildren, Sherry Ann Blevins of New York, NY, Danny Ray (Barbara) Blevins, Michele Richardson, Michael Richardson, and Melanie Richardson; great-grandchildren, Rhiannon (Phillip) York, Megan Blevins, Brittney Blevins, Tristan Huggins, Piper Huggins, and Bodie Huggins; great-great-grandchildren, Levi Foster and Wesley York; one brother, John Wesley “J.W.” (Mae) Adkins; several nieces & nephews; and a host of friends.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Rising Fawn Church of God Building Fund.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 26, in the chapel with Rev. Chris Hagler, Rev. Tommy Crider, and Rev. Dean Sims officiating. Interment will follow in Deer Head Cove Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sunday, April 26 at Ryan Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
