Marketing Alliance Group will expand in Chattanooga with an investment of $15 million creating 100 new jobs.
Marketing Alliance Group serves brands and retailers with product displays and visual merchandising. The company also offers a variety of printing services, and continues to develop state-of-the-art manufacturing processes for metal, wood, and custom plastics.
“We’re excited to grow our presence in Chattanooga and create jobs locally,” said Bryan Hair, Marketing Alliance Group president and CEO.
The new facility will be Marketing Alliance Group’s third in Chattanooga, in addition to several in Calhoun and Dalton, and will expand the company’s wood and metal manufacturing for major home improvement stores and the floor covering industry.
EPB, TVA and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development assisted in pulling together incentives for the company’s expansion into a 500,000-square-foot space in the largest Chattanooga real estate transaction in the last decade.
“When an existing company expands, they are not just making an investment in our community – they are investing in our people,” said Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke. “These are 100 good, middle-class jobs created for Chattanoogans.”
Founded in 1984, Marketing Alliance Group began as a flooring sample manufacturer and has since grown to offer a top-to-bottom approach to retail strategy for a variety of industries.
“Marketing Alliance Group is a longstanding employer that has used our local flooring industry as a springboard to broader success,” said Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger.
Bill Kilbride, Chattanooga Chamber president and CEO, also applauded Marketing Alliance Group’s expansion as “yet another great company creating opportunity in Chattanooga.”
