Chambliss Attorney Rosemarie Hill Honored With Fellowship From The American Bar Foundation

  • Monday, April 6, 2015
The American Bar Foundation announced the nomination of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. attorney Rosemarie Hill to its fellowship program. The Foundation issues fellowship invitations to those attorneys, judges, and legal scholars who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievements and an unyielding dedication to the welfare of their home communities.

“I am honored to receive this fellowship,” said Rosemarie Hill, shareholder and chair of the Chambliss labor and employment section.
“The ABF’s influential research resonates with practitioners across the country, and I am delighted to become part of the vision.”

The American Bar Foundation, founded in 1952 by the American Bar Association, is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting improvements in the legal system through extensive research of the most pressing issues facing legal professionals. Membership is limited to one third of one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Ms. Hill’s fellowship will allow her to provide input into the research and its distribution among local legal professionals as well as community members.

“One of the great advantages of being a fellow is that the American Bar Foundation research faculty provide a window into worlds that fellows otherwise would not see,” said Terence C. Halliday, research professor of the American Bar Foundation.

Ms. Hill concentrates her practice on labor and employment compliance counseling, training, and litigation. She is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam recently appointed her to the Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments.
