Joyce Burkhalter Wayne, 85, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died on Monday, May 18, 2015.
The daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth Burkhalter she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wayne, sister, Delores Ingram and brother, Bruce Burkhalter.
A member of Grace Baptist Church and friend to many, she had sold autos and mobile homes and also owned and operated Wayne’s Grocery for many years.
She is survived by her sons, David (Sally) Wayne and Robert (Rosa) Wayne, all of Kimball, TN; four grandsons, Andrew, Matthew, Spencer and Scott; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shelby Jackson of Albuquerque, NM.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
