Betty J. Street, 85, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2015 after a brief illness.
She was the daughter of the late William E. Selvidge and Addie Selvidge. She was born on March 14, 1930 in Hixson. She graduated from Hixson High school and attended Edmonson Business School. She retired from TVA with 38 years of service as an administrative officer.
She is survived by her husband, William M. Street; Hixson, daughter, Carol Dupree, son-in-law, Alan Dupree, grandchildren, Daniel and Julia Dupree of Marietta, Ga.; brothers, John Selvidge, Hixson, James Selvidge, Crossville, Tn., and Bill Selvidge, Melbourne, Fl., sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kimsey, Ooltewah, Betty Lasley, (deceased) and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m., graveside, on Saturday, May, 30, with Reverend Eric Duble officiating.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m.
