Red Cross Volunteer At Memorial Hospital For Over 30 Years

Dorothy “Corky” Bridge, 86, of Chattanooga, died at Morning Pointe of Hixson on Thursday, May 28, 2015.  

Corky was a Red Cross Volunteer and she volunteered at Memorial Hospital for over 30 years. She was a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church.  

Corky was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Bridge and her son, William “Scooter” Bridge.  

She will be remembered for her wit and wonderful sense of humor which she never lost.

Family and friends will assemble on Tuesday, June 2, at 1 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Chapel, 404 South Moore Road for a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Reverend Terri Lowe officiating. There will be no visitation.

Corky and her husband, William were avid supporters of Bethel Bible Village and would appreciate donations made to them in lieu of flowers.
