Jamar Jones
Police said they found attack dogs at the residence of Jamar Jones when they carried out a drug search.
Jones, 35, was arrested last Thursday for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police confiscated over $2,000 in cash found in the residence.
Detectives from the Chattanooga Narcotics Division conducted the search at 606 Sylvan Dr. The detectives knocked before announcing the search warrant and then forced entry through the front door of the house.
Detectives then found Jones inside. They found a small amount of marijuana in addition to pipes and other drug paraphernalia.
Jones was given a four-year suspended sentence on drug selling charges in 2011. He was also ordered to pay a $2,000 fine.
Then in April he was charged with possession of cocaine and hydrocodone for resale.
