The second annual Startup Week Chattanooga, similar to Denver Startup Week, San Diego Startup Week and Boulder Startup Week, is a five-day showcase of Chattanooga’s local startup community. SWC is built around three tracks- Tech, Social, and Creative- to include the full expanse of the city’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Each track will feature a variety of events that allow organizations and individuals to learn from one another and share some of what makes Chattanooga’s entrepreneurial ecosystem "so remarkable."
Local startups are invited to submit proposals for the kind of activities and programing they would like to host during Startup Week, from panel discussions and speakers to open houses and mixers.
“Last year’s event was an excellent representation of our community's commitment to a vibrant startup scene and fostering a culture of innovation,” said Allison Reedy, programs and events director for The Company Lab. “This year’s multi-day collaborative celebration will provide an opportunity for members of the startup community to continue the conversation, exchange ideas, learn and teach.”
Startup Week’s core committee will be holding an information session at Lamp Post Group on Thursday, June 25, at 5:30 p.m. for organizations interested in participating. Individuals and companies can learn more about hosting events, pairing with downtown property owners for venue space and sponsorship opportunities.
Startup Week Chattanooga will be Oct. 12-16.
