Skyy Mims Sentenced To Life Without Parole In Murder Of Dalton Convenience Store Clerk

Skyy Mims has been sentenced to life without parole for the murder of convenience store clerk D.K. Chaudhari in Dalton in March 2014.

The sentence was announced in Whitfield County on Friday.

A Dalton, Ga., jury in May found the aspiring entertainer guilty of murdering the clerk. The former Detroit woman was found guilty on all counts, including robbery.

The tall, striking defendant's DNA was found on latex gloves at the place she was staying along with the DNA of the victim.

Her cell phone was left behind in the convenience store.

She allegedly wanted to steal lotto tickets in an attempt to finance her planned entertaining career.
