Chancellor Lyle Offers CLE On Business Court Practices

Davidson County Chancellor and Business Court Judge Ellen Hobbs Lyle will present the aspirations and plan of operations for the Tennessee Business Court. Through use of Davidson County chancery court cases and appellate case law, she will cover such areas as:

  • Phases of business cases
  • Early litigation plan
  • Jury instructions for commercial cases
  • Development of Tennessee business case law

Chancellor Lyle also will take questions, suggestions, comments, and concerns posed by seminar participants and a moderator. Seminar participants are requested to participate by bringing matters they wish Chancellor Lyle to address. Questions can be submitted in writing to the moderator or asked in person.

It will take place on Thursday at noon, at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP, 511 Union Street, 27th Floor in Nashville. Bring your own lunch, drinks will be provided. Reserve your spot by emailing Court.News@TNCourts.gov.
