Agents with the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force conducted follow-up investigations on Tuesday on Crest Drive, Chickamauga. The investigations were based on numerous complaints of suspicious activity occurring at multiple residences on Crest Drive.
Agents arrested Robin Dacia Clowers, 42, at 901 Crest Dr. after she was found to be in possession of “ICE” methamphetamine and marijuana. While at 901 Crest Dr., the driver of a vehicle that had been included in the complaints attempted to pull in the driveway, and then sped away as law enforcement officers were noticed.
Agents attempted to catch up to the vehicle, an object was tossed from the passenger side, and a white male leaped from the vehicle and fled on foot.
The container was located by agents and found to contain “ICE” methamphetamine and numerous oxycodone (sch. II) tablets. None of the subjects in the vehicle claimed any knowledge of the illegal drugs. The subject who fled from the vehicle, identified as Drew Dillon Leonard, 26, of 949 Swanson Road at Ringgold was later apprehended at 919 Crest Dr., and placed under arrest. Leonard was also found to have felony drug warrants through Whitfield county in Georgia.
The other occupants of the vehicle were also arrested for possession of methamphetamine, and possession of oxycodone (sch. II). They are identified as:
Chadwick Shaye Clowers, 21, of 901 Crest Dr,, Chickamauga, Ga.;
Lauren Lashay Hardiman, 26, of 1339 Old Chattanooga Valley Road, Flintstone, Ga.; and
Richard Edward Ogden, 22, #6 Chicken Dave Road, Whitwell, Tn.
A follow-up investigation was conducted at 919 Crest Dr. Resident Matthew Todd Alexander, 36, was found to be in possession of marijuana (misd.). An additional person identified as Tiffany Joan Van Pelt, 27, was located hiding in a closet in a rear bedroom. Ms. Van Pelt was found to be in possession of “ICE” methamphetamine, and had an active warrant for a misdemeanor probation violation.
All of the persons were transported to the Walker County Jail and booked.
