Teenager Shot On Blackford Street Early Sunday Morning

A teenager was shot early Sunday morning.

At approximately 2:49 a.m., the Chattanooga Police Department was notified of a person shot. A 15-year-old black male arrived at a local hospital, via a personal vehicle, with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was shot by unknown suspect(s) during an apparent drive-by shooting in the 2000 block of Blackford Street.

No suspect information is available at this time. Investigators are working to determine the facts surrounding this incident.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423 698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
