Teen, 16 And 18, Shot In Separate Incidents

A teen was shot on Central Avenue late Thursday night. Then another teen was struck by a bullet early Friday morning.

At approximately 11:50 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to 3600 Central Ave. for a person shot.

 Officers located a 16-year-old black male suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The victim was transported by Hamilton County EMS to a local hospital.

No suspect information is available at this time.

At approximately 5:41 a.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a local hospital for a person shot.

An 18-year-old male arrived at a local hospital via personal vehicle with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

It was determined, through investigation, the location of incident was at 2200 E.

26th St.

No suspect information is available at this time.
