Firm To Study Redesign For Standifer Gap Road Bridge That Floods

The city plans to carry out a study on a bridge on Standifer Gap Road that frequently floods.

Officials said the bridge in East Brainerd goes underwater during a 10-year flood.

The City Council is to consider a contract for CDM Smith to make a $273,195 study on how to alleviate the problem that does not comply with current road requirements.
