It was only about six months ago the city repaired an area of Lake Resort Drive close to Chickamauga Dam, which once again is caving in.
The city's response was to paint orange lines in the area about two months ago, but repairs have yet to be made.
Actually, all of Lake Resort Drive and Fairview Road are littered with pot holes.They have received a superficial repair filling some of the holes leaving the road as bumpy as it was with the pot holes.
A question to the city - These roads have been in bad disrepair for close to five years. I am sure that the tax basis from the communities provides a sufficient amount to the city budget to allow the city to return some of that money to the community to repair the main road correctly so that it doesn't fall back into disrepair a short time after the repair is made.
