Truck Driver Charged With 6 Deaths At The I-75 Ooltewah Exit Placed On TBI's 10 Most Wanted List; $1,000 Reward Offered

The Tennessee Bureau has a new addition to the state’s ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list: Benjamin Scott Brewer of London, Ky., who is wanted in the deaths of six people in a wreck at Chattanooga.

 

Brewer is wanted by the Chattanooga Police Department, the U.S. Marshal's Service, and the TBI stemming from an indictment by the Hamilton County Grand Jury this week, charging Brewer with six counts of vehicular homicide, four counts of reckless aggravated assault, one count of DUI by impairment of narcotics, one count of speeding, and one count of false report of duty status.

 

Brewer was the driver of an 18-wheeler that collided with vehicles stopped in a construction zone on I-75 on June 26.

 

Brewer, 39, is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He stands 5'7" tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds.

 

Anyone with information about Brewer’s whereabouts is urged to call the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463).

 

There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
