Second Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its 149th Church Anniversary and Homecoming this Sunday, August 9, at 10:45 a.m. Newly selected Pastor Ernest L. Reid, Jr. will bring the message.
A memorial candlelight tribute will recognize deceased members since the last Homecoming.Music will be rendered by the Mass Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Paula Coleman, Music Coordinator of Second. The Anniversary Theme is “Hold Fast To The Promises of God” based on Hebrew 10:23.
Colors are purple and white. The entire community is invited to attend, especially home returning and inactive members and their families.
