Man With Rifle Fatally Shot By Walker County Deputies In Rossville

Walker County deputies fatally shot a man who was clutching a rifle in Rossville on Sunday night.

The incident happened on Cochran Drive.

Authorities said the deputies were responding to a domestic call. A woman said she had been assaulted by the man.

When deputies arrived, they saw him loading the rifle.

He allegedly refused commands to put it down.
