The Hixson volleyball team had a pretty good weekend at the Bison Bash as they won six of eight matches and finished in a tie for third place in the Gold division.
Hixson, improving to 31-12 for the season, beat University School, McGavock and White House on Friday before disposing of Greenbrier, Springfield and Macon County on Saturday.
The only losses came to Summertown on Friday and to host Station Camp on Saturday.
Paige Lawson had 76 kills and 116 digs among other things over the weekend while teammate Tay Tay Staten had 72 kills and 74 digs. Morgan White finished with 97 assists while Haleigh Raber totaled 104 digs.
The Lady Wildcats return to action today as they pay a visit to Soddy Daisy for a non-district match against the Lady Trojans.
