The new Walmart Neighborhood Market at 8101 East Brainerd Road will celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday, with a Grand Opening Celebration from 7:30-8 a.m. and a day of festivities. The new Walmart will bring approximately 95 jobs to the community.
The grand opening ceremony will include remarks from City of Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke, Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger and Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Membership Sandra Brewer. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration will continue inside the new Walmart Neighborhood Market with activities and free samples from vendors.
Festivities will include the presentation of colors by Boy Scout troop 431, the singing of the national anthem by Alana Walker.
