Casey Carter, 20, Shot In East Chattanooga

Casey Carter, 20, was shot on Friday afternoon.

Officers with the Chattanooga Police Department responded to the 2200 block of Wilder Street on reports of an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. 

The male victim was transported to a local hospital. His wound appeared to be non-life threatening. Investigators believe the incident occurred in the 3000 block of Taylor Street. No suspect information is available at this time. 

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423 698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
