Ann Burnette Perry, 54, formerly of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at her home in Scottsboro, Alabama.

A graduate of South Pittsburg High School, she was an optician and had worked for Vinson Vision Center in South Pittsburg and the Walmart Optical Center in Scottsboro.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nona Cagle Burnette and her grandson, Kaden Cross Qualls.

She is survived by her father, Billy “Sonny” Burnette of Bridgeport; daughters, Leia Turner of Winchester, Tennessee and Hannah Qualls of Estill Springs, Tennessee; sister, Lisa Jean (Vince) Sutton of Copperhill, Tennessee; grandson, Landon Turner; nephew, Brian Sutton of Nashville, Tennessee; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 10, at 3 p.m. Central time with Reverend Ronnie Case officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport, Al.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. Central time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016 or by visiting www.kidney.org.
