Jerry Guest
Jerry L. Guest, 72, of Rossville, died on Saturday, January 9, 2016.
He was a lifelong resident of Rossville where he was the manager of General Finance for 40 years retiring in 2005. He was born in Alabama and a 1961 Graduate of Rossville High School. He was an avid car buff who enjoyed going to car shows and flea markets with his brothers. He enjoyed gospel music, fishing, collecting model cars and he had a love and passion for his family and pets.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Rilla Guest of Rossville.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Gloria McRae Guest; three children, Greg (Laura) Guest , Social Circle, Georgia, Kevin (Cynthia) Guest, Rock Spring, Stacie (Reed) Gregory, Chattanooga; three grandchildren, Lanier, Matthew and Margaret Guest; brothers, Kenneth, Marty, Ned, Ted, Eddie and Michael Guest and many nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Randy Chestnut officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Jan. 11, from 4-8 p.m. on at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral service at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge in Rossville.
