Jimmy McCane Shot And Killed On Wilder Street; Kristy Foster Injured By Gunfire

One person was killed and another wounded in a shooting in the 1900 block of Wilder Street early Sunday morning. Jimmy McCane, 33, was killed. Kristy Foster, 39, was injured, but it was not life-threatening.

 

In the incident at 2:32 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded and located a victim on the scene who was pronounced dead by EMS. 

 

 Ms. Foster was transported via a personally-owned vehicle to a local hospital before police arrived. .

 There is no suspect information at this time. Investigators with the Violent Crime Bureau are following all leads. Investigators are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call the Chattanooga Police Department. One can remain anonymous.
