Why I Support Greg Martin - And Response

  • Sunday, October 16, 2016

As a 24-year resident of District 3, and as a former chairman of the Hamilton County Republican Party, I am supporting Greg Martin for District 3 county commissioner because he is guided by faith, family and community.

He and his family are active in his church, Calvary Chapel. He has an attitude of service as demonstrated by his tireless involvement in the Hixson community and more specifically District 3.

He is a member of the Hixson Kiwanis, serves on the Board of Directors of Friends of Hixson, the Advisory Board of the North River Civic Center and the Board of Directors of the Hixson Council of the Chamber of Commerce.

He does all of this as well as serving on the Hamilton County School Board since 2012 and being a businessman and realtor for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Realty Center in Hixson.

All said, he has demonstrated through his work ethic and his unwavering support for his community and District 3 that he is the right person to represent our interests on the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners. Please join with me in casting your vote for Greg.

We live in District 3 and I want a county commissioner with the courage to vote his convictions. And, that is why the five votes in our Hixson household will be cast for Greg Martin.

Greg was the only member of the School Board to stand up and move to fire the failed school superintendent. It took courage to take that stand when the other School Board members were dithering.

Greg has a history of commitment to the Hixson community. He served as our School Board member since 2012 as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Friends of Hixson, the Advisory Board of the North River Civic Center and the Board of Directors of the Hixson Council of the Chamber of Commerce.

He is the right person to represent us as our Hamilton County District 3 commissioner. Please remember that early voting begins Wednesday and please cast your vote for Greg.
