Outside Influence In District 3 County Commission Race

  • Sunday, October 16, 2016
You learn a lot about office seekers when you examine their campaign contributions.  Any citizen can look at Greg Martin or Joe Smith’s contributors by going to http://elect.hamiltontn.gov/FinancialDisclosures.aspx.  It is here you will find that in the most recent filing period that Greg Martin collected $9,401 with 72 percent coming from people that will actually vote in the election.
Joe Smith took in $10,430 with only 18 percent coming from actual District 3 voters. Some of his supporters include the most liberal politician in Chattanooga - Councilman Chris Anderson.

District 3 voters don’t need outside influence and money to dominate this election.  We need a proven conservative leader like Greg Martin. The reason so much of his support comes from the community is because he is invested in the community by serving on the board of the Friends of Hixson, the Hixson Council of the Chamber of Commerce, the school board, the North River Civic Center, and is a member of the Hixson Kiwanis.  No wonder the majority of his financial support is from District 3.

If you want a true District 3 Representative that has our interest first and foremost, I am asking you to please vote for Greg Martin.
