Eduardo Evaristo Perez, 25, Struck And Killed By Motorcyclist On Highway 153; Anthony Gamble, 22, Charged

Eduardo Evaristo Perez, 25, was struck and killed Sunday night on Highway 153. Anthony Blake Gamble, 22, was charged for leaving the scene involving a fatality.

Mr. Perez was struck at the 600 block of Highway 153 northbound. He was attempting to cross Highway 153 in an east to west direction, and was struck by a motorcycle (2015 Suzuki Boulevard) traveling northbound.

Mr. Perez succumbed to his injuries while on scene.

 Police were able to locate the suspect vehicle and operator. Gamble was charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving a fatality and failure to render aid or provide information to police.

He was not listed at fault for the collision involving the pedestrian.

Gamble's court date is set for Nov. 9 at 8:30 a.m. in General Sessions Court. 

Traffic investigators are asking for anyone who witnessed any aspect of the crash to call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525.
