Community Meeting On Colon Cancer Is Saturday

A community meeting on colon cancer titled, “Protecting your Bottom Line” will be held Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon at Mount Canaan Baptist Church, 4801 Hwy. 58. 

According to the CDC, African Americans have the highest colorectal cancer rates of all ethnic groups in the U.S. The meeting will discuss how colon cancer is preventable, treatable and beatable. 

The event is sponsored by Erlanger's Southside/Dodson Community Health Centers, Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, It Matters Wellness, Mount Canaan Baptist Church and Greater Chattanooga Colon Cancer Foundation.
